Han's Chimaek, a new Korean restaurant in Boise, Idaho, is best known for our Korean fried chicken and beer, also known as “chimaek.” Located at 1716 South Broadway Avenue in Boise, Idaho, this Boise Korean restaurant is right off of US-26 and is close to Boise State University. 

Han's Chimaek is open to the public Monday through Thursday from 4 pm to 10 pm and Friday and Saturday from 12 pm to 12 am. Visit us for a cozy and comfortable dine-in setting. At Han’s Chimaek, we are widely known for our chimaek. “Chimaek” means “chicken” and “beer” in Korean. While we do specialize in fried chicken and beer, our flavorful menu consists of a wide variety of options. How to Order Our Chimaek

At Han's Chimaek, we have a popular delicacy from South Korea– Chimaek. This refined cuisine consists of boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts that are seasoned with soy sauce, garlic, and gochujang, a type of Korean chili paste. First, the chicken is coated with a layer of batter. Then the chicken is submerged in oil until it reaches a crispy texture. Along with the fried chicken, the meal usually comes with delicious dipping sauces, pickled radishes, and, naturally, beer.

To order our famous chimaek, follow these steps:

Step 1 

Choose your chicken. Chicken options include bone-in wings (6-7 pieces), boneless chicken (dark or white meat), or not chicken, which are our vegetarian and vegan options.

Step 2

Pick your favorite sauce. Our sauces range from plain, Yangnyum (sweet and spicy), soy (sweet soy garlic), buffalo (sour and spicy), and creamy onion (savory and sweet).

Step 3 Choose a side. For our sides, you can pick a meal combo, which includes both rice and a drink, just rice, just a drink, radish and coleslaw, and beer.

Mouth-Watering Lunch Boxes

One of Han's Chimaek's best sellers is the lunch box. Our lunch boxes are filled with ½ sized boneless bites or tofu and are served with rice. This option is perfect for one person, as its proportion size is just right. 

You can customize your lunch box easily by first choosing between boneless chicken or tofu. Then, you can pick your favorite sauce! We have four sauce options for you to choose from: sweet and spicy Yangnyum, sweet soy garlic, sour and spicy buffalo, and savory and sweet creamy onion. If you like to keep things simple, you can also choose to keep your protein as is- plain.

Korean Fruit Soju soju with a unique fruit-flavored taste.

In addition to beers and soju, we do offer a list of non-alcoholic beverages including Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Minute Maid, Gold Peak, Sprite, Fanta, Dr. Pepper, Hot Tea, and Hot Coffee.

Does Han's Chimaek Offer Vegetarian or Vegan Options?

Han's Chimaek has a variety of fresh vegetarian and vegan options. Vegetarians can choose from any of our delicious tofu boxes, which consist of tofu, steamed white rice, and your choice of one of our signature sauces. Our sauces consist of sweet and spicy Yangyum sauce, sweet soy sauce, spicy buffalo sauce, or sweet creamy onion sauce. Vegans can choose from any of our tofu boxes, except for the sweet creamy onion sauce option, as it is not vegan.
